How to Get Published Under Your Institution’s Open Access Agreement with IEEE
The event is kindly supported by IEEE Student Branch @Politecnico di Torino
This event will provide authors with best practices in preparing a manuscript, navigating the journal submission process, and important tips to help authors, and how to publish open access under the current IEEE agreement in Italy.
It will also review the opportunities authors and academic institutions have to enhance the visibility and impact of their research by publishing in the many open access options available from IEEE.
This session will feature the perspective of Prof. Giovanni Ghione (IEEE Life Fellow) of Politecnico di Torino, Dipartimento di Elettronica e Telecomunicazioni.
Prof. Giovanni Ghione has authored or coauthored more than 350 research articles and four books. He was the Associate Editor (2010-2015) and then Editor-in-Chief (2016–2022) of the IEEE Transactions on Electron Devices.
Prof. Ghione will provide critical insights on IEEE’s peer review and submission processes and tips on what editors look for in submissions.
